Akasha is a Performing Artist, Instructor, Choreographer and Artistic Director of the Rajeeyah Dancers, based out of the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Since the age of 7 she has studied many different forms of dance, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, County Line Dance, Drill Team, African, Latin, Indian, Hip Hop, Tahitian and Hula. In 1994 Akasha was introduced to Middle Eastern Dance. Since then she has studied Greek, Turkish, Lebanese, and Egyptian Cabaret, and Tribal Fusion styles. It is from all these disciplines that Akasha pulls from to create a signature style that is all her own. Available for workshops, classes, and special events, Akasha is sure to charm your audience! |
